Open-Access Credits

Dated 17 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-17

Ochre Editions is a service operated by Valor Security (valor registered name). Every work in our catalogue is shared by a museum through its open-access programme. This page credits each one.

No endorsement

No museum endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Ochre Editions, and none sells through us. We use no museum logos or trademarks. A museum's name appears on our site only to credit the source of a work, in the form "Courtesy of …", with a link to the museum's own record.

How we use the collections

  • We include a work only when the museum marks it CC0 or public domain. The museums also hold works still under copyright, and those are never included.
  • Museum text, such as label text, is shown as the museum published it, with its source named. Where we reformat museum data, for example by converting dimensions to inches, the result is modified from the museum's original.
  • Text we write ourselves is labelled as ours.
